Tall turban with silk velvet bow to front, in heavy striped fabric embellished with rows of embossed brass diamonds. Featured in an article 'Big Fall Hats' in Life Magazine, August 6 1945, in which several milliners were invited to pick out their most important hat of the season. Lilly Daché chose this 'spiralling fez turban' as hers.
